This application was built for TCS Programming. It allows a user to collect time card information for employees on the Motorola i58sr. The system scans barcodes using a Symbol PSM 20i Bar code scanner, time information about the Job, Cost Center, Department, and other attributes. It stores the time information until end of day when the user sends the data to a communication server.
I also wrote the communication server, by request in Visual Basic. The communications server writes the jobs into a database used to process employee's time information. |

This application was built for @couriers. It manages the delivery/pickup schedule for couriers. Information is fed either real time or batch to/from the mobile device through a Java Server Application also written by myself. The mobile app provides information about parcel pickup and drop off. it allows the user to scan parcels using a Symbol PSM 20i attached bar code scanner.
All information about pickups and drop offs are stored on the mobile device and sent within minutes to the server automatically. GPS Positions are captured automatically and sent to the server so that the dispatchers are always aware of the courier's current location. |
